Alison Andersson is an artist based in Ojai, CA. She has exhibited at c. nichols project, Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation and The Bunker Space among others. Her work can sometimes be found at Mercado Segrado, Deck the Halls and other curated marketplaces as well as select stores (Canyon Coffee, The Hummingbird Inn, The Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara, Takara, Merchant Modern, and Vestige, to name a few). Her practice ranges from bespoke domestic wares to painting and sculpture. She completed her MFA at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Alison Andersson makes objects for contemplation and daily rituals. Her current inspirations are French Surrealism, California in the 70’s, Japanese Mingei, rustic sea shanties and tumbled ocean objects.
